Not all custom jewelry inquiries are possible due to the limitations of safe body jewelry and each brand’s preferred policies.
Your safety is our top priority at Fox Labyrinth, and that starts with the jewelry we use. We offer only implant-grade titanium polished to a mirror finish, as well as 14k and 18k solid gold.
Downsizing means switching the initial, longer post used during your fresh piercing to a shorter one once the swelling has gone down—usually a few weeks after your appointment. The longer post gives your piercing room to swell safely at first, but keeping it in too long can lead to irritation, snagging, or shifting. Downsizing helps your piercing sit more comfortably, heal better, and look more polished.
For your safety, we only pierce with jewelry that is internally threaded and meets APP implant-grade standards. We do not work with outside jewelry unless it meets these requirements. If you’d like to use your own jewelry, you must bring it to the studio at least seven days before your appointment for inspection. If approved, we will then sterilize it for use. This policy helps protect you from low-quality or unsafe materials and gives your piercing the best chance to heal properly. We take jewelry quality seriously, every piece we use is carefully chosen to meet our strict safety standards.
We carry only implant-grade jewelry, the same high-quality metals used in the medical field for safe, long-term wear inside the body. Our jewelry is biocompatible, meaning it’s designed to work with your body and minimize the risk of irritation or rejection.
Each piece is expertly polished to create a smooth surface that helps prevent bacteria build-up and reduces the risk of infection.
Yes! We offer discreet options for certain piercings, such as nostrils, septum, or lobes. For studs, we have flat disks in different skin tones that resemble a small freckle. For septum piercings, we carry horseshoe rings that can be flipped upward for a more hidden look.
We do not recommend clear plastic jewelry for long-term wear, since plastic is porous (which allows bacteria to build up) and it isn’t biocompatible. For short-term needs, such as medical procedures, we do offer glass retainers, but these should only be used temporarily.
